The review is strictly how i personally feel it is.I have tried my best not to be biased by any way.
So here it is.

D'evil Presents MadMan

Intro - I guess i've heard this before(from u obviously),atleast the first part of it.Idk maybe from the track perverts? yes.Good way to start it off though.Interesting while u gave a hint that u have your old songs in there too.

That’s Wrong (Ft . Enkore of Munky Rhymz)- Perfect.I think this should be the best track in the tape imo.very nice flow by both(u and enkore).i see u two have been switching mics quite often on this one,but never sounded like something changed.Very smoooth flow and delivery.Mixing was flawless on this one.loved it

Enkore's Mom Calling (Skit)- Funny as hell.This was something which was REQUIRED in the tape.but i believe it should have been somewhere in the middle coz u just started ur tape.Nevertheless,props for the idea and efforts on this one.

Indian Men Cant Rap - I have mixed reaction on this one.Not that m listening to it the first time,but lets say, i am.i couldnt stop laughing listening to a few comments in the background.Hilarious.+1 for that.The lyrics are very impressive no doubt,but i think it should have been a little more agressive.Its like u were more conscious about not losing ur flow.Nice track but u know what went wrong imo.Just a lil aggression and experimentation on this coz this track wasnt like ur normal gangsta shit.

Dirty Emcees (Feat.A-list)- Okay,i think we got a problem here.Not that i am against such topics but this just did not sound 'good' comparatively.first of all,the intro was repeated which according to me was a mistake.either u could have kept u and enkore convo as ur intro and put the girl convo on this one or u could've made this without an intro.the lyrics did not please me a bit,not from u,not from a-list.Accent issues with a-list.this wasnt entertaining to me atleast.

Gimme a Light- Good,u just came back.I am not very happy with this track but this kept me listening to the entire song.the english verse had some issues with the mixing i guess.wasnt able to understand u most of the time.then it had no hook which was again a let down.i was just about to get bored and then u started ur verse in hindi.this went on and saved the track.This was an average track but on the right time.

Marijuana Rhapsody - Again i am kinda confused.Now the tracks are kinda getting monotonous.even though u have intros and shit but u need to change ur flow,if not choose a different beat.i am not even talking about lyrics anymore.But if i play a few songs from this tape randomly i wouldnt be able to differentiate.this could have been better and different.

Bad Mic (Interlude)- It is the same kinda beat with the same kinda flow.however,u did experiment with the flow.but the delivery needs to be improved bigtime coz u sounding the same everytime.average for an interlude.

Hardknok Calling (Skit)- ummm.to be honest..this doesnt even make sense to me.hardknoks gf doesnt decide his tracks.ankurs mom leaving that message makes hell lotta sense.but this one was unnecessary.I am just talking concept-wise.

Whack the Rapper (feat. Hardknok)- ahh this sounded like some 90's joint.I have no complaints on this one.started of very good and ended even better.nice-ish flow from both sides.the beat was different,lyrics sounded hell improved.arijit did the trick for u.both of u were really good on the mic.properly mixed.properly executed.Nice

Goof Ups- the hook was very energetic and catchy.i loved the beat and vibe on this one.u started off with the usual flow,no shit.but as the track moved ahead,i started liking it.not something that i'd listen to all the time but sometimes,ya.u'have been doing good in hindi too.No goof ups on this.

Ninonika- Dope.This shit was way too tight man.the beat was like the rest of the tracks in the tape,but this beat had the perfect vibe.the content,lyrics,delivery,flow everything in place.Hell,this sounded even better than 'that's wrong'.i wish it could've lasted a bit long though.

The Girl in my Classroom- I just couldnt feel the hook here,all the singing and shit.and u started off pretty bad too,sounded like u were reading stuff u know.u got back to a little rapping in the middle somewhere but it wasnt upto the mark.i think this wasnt placed properly again.coz just a track ago,u were talking about girlfriend lol.Not my type of thing but this could be heard once in a while.

Weird thoughts- You again came back.Few funny lines on this one.the delivery really nice and so was ur flow.lack of energy but no complaints other than that.

Outro- Atlast,a few freestyle rhymes.i was hoping to hear some freestyle shit on the tape since i have heard u and enkore freestyle pretty neat.nice way to end the tape.



Overall- Mad props.there are only a few cats who can actually spit so many bars to come up with a mixtape.I took out time to show respect and at the same time tell u what i feel about the tape.This was a pretty neat tape imo.i had issues here and there with ur monotonous flow and delivery.and then the beats were kinda same.concepts were repeated.now those were the negative points.the positives would be ur attitude on this one.u did play with the flow a bit in a few tracks which i liked a lot.the mxing was awesome.u just need to be energetic and expressive.t5ry something different next time.plan ur mixtape.plan it according to the listeners.make sure u dont stretch ur tracklist,plan ur skits as intervals.make sure ur place ur collabs in intervals.I am very impressed with the amount of hardwork put into this.Worth downloading without a doubt.And thats what underground is all about,we spit more and pose less.its not easy spitting 13-14 dope tracks.i hope to see u improve more in the future and keep making such tracks and mixtapes.

Adobe Audition CS5.5 is new generation of music producing software. Mastering with Adobe Audition CS5.5 is great experience. In this tutorial I am going to show you how to get studio quality vocals using Adobe Audition CS5.5.

I found this tutorial really good and it was very helpful and so wanted to share with everyone.Let me know if it worked the same for you.

Step 1. Setup recording track 

The first thing you must do is to setup yours recording track correctly. That means you must set a MONO recording because mono track is better and easier to produce then stereo track. How to do that? 

1. Run Adobe Audition CS5.5
2. Click on "Multitrack" mode 
3. Choose track you want record you vocal 
4. Click "Default Stereo Input" and choose MONO device

Step 2. Recording Vocals

Most of you think that the easier part of music making is recording process, well that is not true. Recording vocal is one of most important step in music making. Here are some basic facts you must know before you can learn anything else : 

1. Adjust Microphone Volume to avoid any "extra" and " unwanted" sound
2. Distance between you and your mic must be minimum 15cm, the optimum is somewhere between 15-20cm
3. If you are recording in you house make sure that you record you vocals in small room, and avoid any noise like cars, wind or something like that. You just want your vocal recorded not you neighbor. 

Step 3. Mastering process 

Mastering / Mixing your vocal is second most important step in song making process. No matter if you are rock singer, RnB or hip hop/rap artist you surely want clear and powerful vocal. In this post I am going to walk you trough some of most important effects you must use to get decent vocal quality. 

The first effect that you must use is Amplify process. What is amplify process? Amplify process is great way to boost power and volume of your vocal, it is very useful if you using some cheap microphone with poor quality. How to do that? 

1. Record you vocal
2. Go to "edit mode" or waveform 
3. Click Effects > Amplitude and Compression > Amplify.. 
4. Then just choose one of present that fit to your vocal volume 

The next effect you must use is Dynamic Processing. Dynamic processing will give your vocal some really good quality and it is very useful. How to use it?

1. Click Effects > Amplitude and Compression > Dynamic Processing > Classic Soft knee
2. Then click on "settings" and mark "Noise gating".

Next effect you must use Graphic Equalizer. Graphic eq is of greatest effect, this one give really nice quality to you vocals. How to use it?

Click Effects > Filter and EQ > Graphic Equalizer (20 Bands) > 20 bands Classic V. 

 

Next effect is Parametric Equalizer. 

Click Effects > Filter and EQ > Parametric Equalizer > Loudness Maximizer 

Next effect you want to use is Reverb. Reverb is great effect if you are using some less quality microphone. Revereb effect will give to your vocal little delay and echo but not too much. How to use it?

Click on Effects > Reverb > Studio Reverb > Vocal Reverb (small) 

 

And Last effect you need to use is Hard Limiting. Hard Limiting will make you vocals at same level ( no pops and pufs). How to use it?

Click Amplify and Compression > Hard Limiting > Light 

  

Done.
